I have a Sarah Ann Shockey - b. 1833 PA daughter of Abraham b. 1788 and Susan Rector Shockey b. 1788. I have her marriage to Daniel Jackson Miller Jan 30, 1851 in Sandusky, Shelby Co. OH. I have the census on them in 1860 Marion Co. IN, 1870 in Morgan Co. IN and 1880 in Greene Co. ARK. I have a total of eleven children for them.
Our family believes that our ancestor Adaline Shockey Martin b. 1825 is a sister to Sarah Ann, and the daughter to Abraham and Susan Shockey. There is not a census that shows the names of Rebecca b. 1822 and Adaline b. 1825 with the family. They both married in Crawford Co. OH in April 1843. That is where the James and Sarah Martin family lived. Adaline married Joseph Martin.
The 1830 Somerset Co. PA census has 3 girls under 5 -- which we believe is Rebecca, Adaline and Susannah b. 1829.
Sarah Ann and Nancy Jane b. 1837 OH had not yet been born.
If you have any information on Rebecca and Adaline I would appreciate you letting me hear from you.
