Hi-
the information we have is the spelling is Schaacke from the Palatinate area of Germany. Ours is Kristofel and he arrv. in 1737 on the Snow Molly in Philadelphia. The British spelled the named phonetically- Shockey as the German sounded
I sppose it would be too difficult to find a connection between the two.
