Hi Delilah, Sorry for the delay in receiving your board replies, as I don't check my old Juno email as often anymore. I also got your email and have replied, so am waiting to hear back from you. Thank you for the additional information you supplied. Please do now use my primary email of geanieseeker at comcast dot net for future contact. You and I are 4th cousins, once removed. My great-grandmother, Frances Anna (Burnett) Blair, Hodnett was a 1st cousin to your g-g-grandfather, William Henry Burnett. William's father, Levi T. Burnett was brother to my g-g-grandfather, James Richardson Burnett (father of Frances Anna) and Levi's wife, Nancy C. Beasley was the niece of our mutual 4th great-grandmother, Maria J. Beasley who married our William Burnett. They had 6 children together before she died: Mary A., my James Richardson, Martha Ann, Rebecca Jane, your Levi T. and Susan Burnett. I believe that it's very possible that Mary A. and Susan also died of small pox like their mother, as we have no other records of them beyond the family's 1850 census in Bond County, Illinois. Nancy was also the niece of Maria's sister, Narcissa Beasley who married William Burnett after Maria died in 1850 of chicken pox. William and Narcissa only had the one daughter, Louisa Adelaide Burnett (m- Charles Henry Creciat) before William died in January 1855. I'm sure you'll enjoy joining our "Burnett & Beasley Family Center" MyFamily.com site, which is a private, password protected, by invitation only site. I'm just awaiting your missing linage data before sending you your invitation to the site. I'll bet your Dad will be very pleasantly surprised to learn more about not only his great-grandparents, but also his other Burnett and Beasley ancestors that we have posted on our site. Looking forward to hearing back from you cousin! Till later....Bobbi Notify Administrator about this message?
