Fred *** NC 1850 to MO 1860-1900 at least

After searching both Shoffner and Shofner boards, I have been unable to link a “young” Fred Shoffner to the rest in Alamance County, NC. Fred was b NC (so were his parents) circa 1814-1822. His wife went by various spellings – Aphama, Ifama, Afamy, Ifamje – depending on which census record one uses. She was born in NC, 1824, had 5 children, of which 3 were living in 1900. Fred and wife were in Alamance Co in 1850 then in Polk Co., Mo, through 1900. Four of the five children were: William (b NC, 1849), Sarah M (b NC, May 1851), Martha (b MO 1858/9) and Francis Marion (b 18 Oct 1860, MO). Francis Marion Shoffner m Mary Jane Moore. Both died in Bolivar, Polk Co, MO. Anyone know of these folks??? Thanks. Kay
