For those searching for information about Michael Shofner, you might start with a book written by James Rightman Blanks. The Shofner Family Genealogy: A Genealogical History of the Descendants of Michael Shofner (1721-1810). The book was published in 1989 by Family History Publishers, Bountiful, Utah. It is 700 plus pages and the LC Call Number is CS71.S5583 1989.
I have never seen the book and Mr. Blanks did not have any copies left to sell.
