Hi Sheryl,
This is all I can give you. I trust I have helped you out at least a bit.
The family record does not provide any dates. If it did, I would have posted them here. Everything that has been written in the record has been posted here as well. That is all I can say. I did come across this website on family of Jacob Schupp and Mary Bruner during this past Friday: http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~farmerie/shoop/Schubb.htmhttp://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~farmerie/shoop/Schubb.htm
Elizabeth Schupp married John Taney on September 27, 1812 in Zion Lutheran Church, Chester Co., Pennsylvania.
John Taney (8-25-1791 in Pikeland, Chester Co., PA to 10-22-1868 in Chester Co., PA) and Elizabeth Schupp (8-2-1785 in Worcester, Montgomery Co., PA d.10-1881 in Pikeland, Chester Co., PA) Married: September 27, 1812 in Zion Lutheran Church, Chester Co., Pennsylvania
(They are buried in the St. Vincent Cemetery, Chester Co., Pennsylvania)
Children: John (1-15-1820 Germantown, PA; Bapt.6-1826 in East Vincent, PA), Hannah (c.1821), Elizabeth (2-12-1823), Mary, Barbara, Ablena (c.1828), Catherine (d. 15 years old; was humpback), Susanna (d. 1 year old), Sarah (d. 3 weeks old)
The date of Elizabeth Schupp's death is provided in the family record but gives no location of her death but the 1880 Census solves that mystery:

John Trinley (father of Jacob Trinley) was born in Montgomery county and lived there until after his marriage, when he settled in Chester county. He was a laboring man and went from home in pursuit of work, when he died in 1853. He was a plain, honest man. Mrs. Mary (Taney) Trinley was born in Chester county, and they were married there. After the death of her first husband, in 1855 she married (second husband) Peter Miller, a native of Pennsylvania and a laborer and a butcher. They remained in Chester county, where they both died. The children of John and Mary (Taney) Trinley were: John W., a well-to-do farmer of Chester county; Priscilla (Mrs. John Bund); Jacob; William, went to England and has never been heard of since; Mary (Mrs. Philip Minch). Peter and Mary (Trinley) Miller had no children.
John Taney (maternal grandfather) was of German descent. He was a laboring man, skillful with tools, and built boats for use on the Reading canal. He also worked on different farms. He maintained a good home and was comfortable but not wealthy. Be was a member of the German Reform church. His children Elizabeth (Mrs. A. Soures); Barbara, married Peter Yeager, who served in the war of 1812, his wife still drawing a pension; John, worked in iron foundries and became a skilled laborer, dying near Johnstown; Ablena (Mrs. Charles W. Wisner); Hannah (Mrs. David Lloyd), her husband being a machine molder; and Mary (mother), who was the second child.
An old family document that Meredith Wilcox (m Jerry Muril Maitland) proclaims: “The family claim that Jacob Schupp was in the Army at Valley Forge and stained the snow with the blood of his feet”. Children of Jacob Schupp and Mary Bruner are listed as follows: Henry, George, Michael, Barbara (m. Chub), Kate (m. Massersmith), Margaret Hantzell, Mary (m. Shivley), Susan (m. Konerant), Elizabeth (m. John Taney).
The old family document states the following of the Taney side of the family: Mother was not sure of her Grandfather’s first name – she knew her Mother was Elizabeth Schupp. Her two uncles move near Pittsburgh and I found the names of some Sowers on a map of Armstrong County. I obtained what is on this paper from what mother Wilcox remembered.
