Hi everybody

My name is Jane Shorten and I live in Dublin Ireland. My father was Donald Shorten, born in Cork and his father was William Shorten, from Ballingeary in West Cork, I think. My cousin David Shorten has done some research into this but I don't know how far he got. In the book The History of Bandon it states that the Shortens came from England (Taunton I think)to Bandon in 1620.
