Pat, I don't have anything on your Shorten family. However, I am trying to trace a Northridge family found in Kilbrogen Parish, probably County Cork. Have you been able to locate this parish? Checking the Irish Atlas online I can't find it. Likely it has changed names since the 1700's. Thank-you for your time. Sincerely, Becky T.
