Hi Kate,

My g.g. grandfather was James Shorten of Moneygaff West, Coppeen, in the parish of Kinneigh. His wife was Mary (possibly Harrold). James was born in 1799 and died on 22/2/1884. Their children were : Paul c. 1834, Eliza c. 1836, (She could have been Eliza Anne or otherwise Anne was another sibling), Hannah c. 1842, Margaret (my great grandmother) c. 1843, Tamar c. 1850 and Catherine c. 1853. I wonder if there is a connection?
