Stonewall Shows Is He Yours????

This young man from AL lies buried in Belgium

Stonewall J Shows 1st LT
44 FA BN 4 DIV
Alabama d. November 29, 1944

From one of the lists I am on....

"At the request of a friend of mine (a retired professional soldier of the Belgium Army) I would ask you if you can help us to find possible relatives of an US Frist Lieutenant who died here in Belgium. My friend who takes care (for a long time) of the Lieutenant's grave in a military cemetery, just knows the name of that man who
died for our liberty.
We suppose he was too young to have children,
that perhaps his parents are dead, but other realtives could still be alive.

The purpose of this search is just to let the
lieutenant's family know that there are still
flowers on his grave (and know a little more about his short life)

I thank you very much
Andre
