Hi -

I'm the gggg granddaughter of Elizabeth Shroyer, b 1805 who is Samuel Shroyer's mother. According to Albert Rice in Mulberry, IN, Elizabeth Shroyer was a full-blooded Delaware Indian. According to him, she was born in Pennsylvania. I checked this w/ what was going on w/ the Delaware Indians at the time, and the Delaware Indians were in Pennsylvania after the 1770's or so and they were there at her year of birth. They went to Pennsylvania, then Ohio, then Indiana, then Texas - they were moved a total of 20 times before they were forced to go to Oklahoma on the reservation.
