From my sources: My descendants from the "Wolf" ancestry. Parents of George, I have Johan Geo and Katherine (Butts) Shreuer/Shroyer. George (son) b.6/5/1808\17 (I am searching for the correct birthdate)in Rockingham,VA. Sarah Wolf,b. 1/5/1810 in German Twp.,Montgomery, OH. She is the fifth child of Jacob and Susannah (Smith)Wolf. Jacob's sister, Christina (Wolf) Paulus, wife of Abraham our my gt,gt,gt,gt-grandparents. I have on record, Geo and Sarah lived in Preble Cty, OH; where the first five of their children were born. Abt.1842, they moved to Benton Twp,Elkhart County, IN.,where their other two children were born. The 1850 census of Elkhart County gives Geo's occupation as a cooper, and his land valued at 200 dollars. 1860 Kosciusko County Census shows they moved to Plain Twp, Kosciusko,Cty. and lists mother of Sarah, Susan Wolf (widow of Jacob,Sr) living in their home. Sarah d. 8/28/1861 at Benton, IN. (just minutes drive from my hometown of Ligonier,IN.) She is buried in the cemetery at Leesburg, IN. George remarried, 12/28/1865 to Pheby (Counts) Bennett. They had two children together. George d. 6/11/1880 at Warsaw,IN and is buried in Leesburg Cemetery. I don't have the resting place or date of death for Phoeby. I have the childrens names, but lots of "abt" for dob's, a few marriages listed, and date of deaths are "abt's," as well. Please contact me to share information...Janie Paulus Dzina
