Jackson Center Oh newspaper 31 July 1931. Former resident died while cutting oats. The horses stopped when his hat fell off. His son rushed to him but death was instantaneous. Born near Jackson Center fifty eight years ago, he moved to a farm near Vandalia where his death occurred. Thirty three years ago he married Pearl Richardson and she survives with sons Marion, Paul, and Clinton of Dayton; John at Home and Mrs Blanche Scott of Baten Rouge La. Burjial in Glen cemetery.
