Hi Anna, Thank you. I'll check this with Rick Miller, he is the one that wrote Bloody Bill Longley. Rick got the picture of Lou Shroyer from my Aunt Opal. My aunt also tried to find Lou's parents, that's how I knew about Ludwig Shroyer. I traced down the imagration log and found the Schroyers when they came over in 1752. I have some copies of Lewis Shroyer in the Cival War BUT i STILL can't PROVE anything. At this point it is all quess work. The Shroyer lines are everywhere. Where did your line come from??????? I did go to Amazon and check out the book. It seems Rick wrote another about Bill Longley. Bill was an Outlaw in and around Texas and yes Bill did shoot Lou Shroyer in Uvalde, Texas Jan. 26, 1876. But there was never a death certificate. So many unanswered questions. Thank you again, Lura
