Thanks for posting the info on-line. My information shows that Rufus and Judy also had Hill Shue, b @ 1870; d. @ 1907: John Shue, b. @ 1872 who married Irma Coulson; Ermon Carter Shue, b. 1876; and Dave Shue (killed by a falling tree). This information was posted on internet by Jeff R. Shaddix whose web-site was entitled The Road to Texas. He had information from a lady named Thelma Sims (now deceased) who had stated Dick and Hill were outlaws, and that Van Heuton (Houton) was a faith healer.
I found an obituary on internet for Hill Shue that was in a source called Tales of Old by James Daniel. It was from the Batesville (AR) Guard, Friday, May 29, 1908. It reads: "Shue, Dick of McCrory. The body of Dick Shue, a farmer, about 6 miles from McCrory was found in the road near the home of J. H. Simmons, (with) whom he is said to have quarreled. Shue had been shot through the head and breast. Shue's body was found at a point within a mile of where his brother Hill Shue's body was found last summer, after he had been shot and killed by one Taylor. Simmons has been taken into custody."
