I recently found an estate settlement for Henry W. Shue at the Pope County Courthouse in the old records vault. Will be glad to share this with you. It has an approximate death date and a list of heirs. His wife, Margaret and two sons,John Thomas Shue and William D. Grant Shue.
There is also guardianship record in it for the children of his brother, Nelson Shue.
Another thing, here is the marriage record for Elmer Shue from Pope Co.
Elmer Shue 21 to Elsie McClain 18 both of Pottsville married 31 Oct 1909 by Alva I. Goode minister Book J page 243. He can't be the son of Henry because Henry died in 1870. According to Elmer's age here he was born in 1888.
