There is no book and page number, these are loose papers filed in a folder in the old vault. We found them while trying to make a new index for all these old papers. The early court files are in envelopes and boxes and are all loose. This vault is kept locked and only a few people can get to them. That was why I made the copies.

Thanks for the information on where William and Susan were in the 1850 census. Right now I am working on an article for publication in the Pope County Historical Association's Journal on the Shue family.
I also found the estate of Henry W. Shue in the old files. It is very lengthy, more than 60 sheets of paper and that includes putting several of the small slips of paper included in this on one sheet. Some of them were no more than a couple of inches in lenght and I could fit three or four to a sheet.
