I am currently researching John Shue of Pope County, Ark. John Shue was married to Mary Phillips. I have his siblings as Mattie (Martha Headspeth), Mollie (Reese-Miller), Gene (Eugene), Will (William). I know there are more but haven't yet found supporting documentation. Thought someone might like to see one of the obits I found. Monday Rites for Former Resident Funeral services for Mrs. L.S. Miller, 65, former Navarro county resident, who died with a heart attack at her home in San Antonio Saturday night, were held from the First Baptist church in Buffalo at 2 pm. Monday. The rites were conducted bt Rev. Strickland. Burial was in the Buffalo cemetery. Mrs. Miller resided in Navarro county for many years during the life-time of her first husband, the late B.F. Reese, who died October 12, 1938. She was married to L.S. Miller in San Antonio in March, 1947. Surviving are her husband of San Antonio; 6 daughters, Mrs. Bernie Parker, Hillsboro; Mrs. A.D. Talbott, Buffalo; Mrs. L.J Foster, Corsicana; Mrs. Eddie Bartley, New Orleans; Mrs. Cleo Ivey ans Mrs. Melton, Ellis both of San Antonio; 4 sons, J. C and Willard Reese, both of San Antonio; W.D and Abner Reese, both of Buffalo; 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs.Mattie Headspeth, Corsicana; 3 brothers, Will Shue, Buffalo; John Shue of Alma (this is my Greatgreatgrandfather) , and Gene Shue, Arkansas; a step daughter, Miss Beverly Miller, San Antonio, and other relatives.
