Catharine Shue married in York Co PA to Andrew Hinkle at
Christ Lutheran Church in 1818. Date is not entered but the
previous marriage was in May 1818. I can prove absolutely
nothing about her ancestry but I'm interested in a Jacob
and Catharine Schuch family, also of Christ Lutheran Ch.
Can anyone help with these records?
The one thing I know is that when Catharine and husband and their children moved from York to Crawford Co in NW PA about 1828, her nephew, Jacob, moved with them.
Her children (Hinkle surname) are William, Amos,
Catharine, Henry, Elizabeth, John A, Aquilla, Priscilla,
Jacob all born 1822-1836. Death and burial LaGrange Co IN
in the town of Howe, called Lima at the time of her death
10 March 1874.
