George Shurtz--- Licking County, Ohio

I am looking for information on George Shurtz. I am thinking that he may tie into my family somehow, but I am not sure how. He appears on some documents closely associated with my family. The first one is an Administrators Bond of my great great great grandmothers estate.

Here is what I know about him. He was born about about 1815 in Ohio as the son of Henry Shurtz. In 1850, he was living in Newark and was married to Ursula (born about 1821 in va) son Henry, born about 1843 in Ohio and daughter Janet born about 1845 in OH. Also living with them was Henry Shurtz born about 1782 in Pennsylvania and an H Elliott born about 1828 in Newark, Ohio. (I believe that H Elliott Shurtz was a brother to George Shurtz as evidenced by an obituary from 1902 in the Newark Advocate) In the 1860 census, Ursula is gone and there is another child named Francis, male born about 1850 in Ohio.

Source Citation: Year: 1860; Census Place: Newark, Licking, Ohio; Roll: M653_998; Page: 88; Image: 177.

Does anyone out there know Ursula's maiden name? Does anyone know when George Shurtz died and where he is buried? Any information on this family would be GREATLY appreciated.
