Gerry, Thank you for your interest. My grandmother's sister, Cora Belle SIAS married Marvel Elkins. He became a Church of Christ preacher in WVa, They had 5 children that I know of.

This is just a tidbit. The Elkins is a common line connected with the SIAS Family. The orgin of the SIAS name is France. I have one book on Charles Fleetford SIAS whose family settled in the New England states. My Sias Family appears to have come through VA. Have not traced them to the ship that brought them to this country.

There are a couple of sight I can give you to view.

A. B. SIAS wrote about "Sias Family in America, Vol. 1, 2 and 3. I have not been successful in securing any of them. However, a cousin loaned me her Vol.1 and I copied it. I have standing request in several areas for one or all of them.

I have been corresponding with Paul Elkins who is a great grandson of Marvel. Also, I have a copy of Lincoln Co. WV. census 1880 which shows your Overton Elkins and Nancy F., listing 4 daughters and 1 son.

Let me know if I can assist. Rose
