In 1890 in Solomon City, Ks, an M Sias signed as a witness on my Great grandfathers civil war pension application .Daniel Frazier..I have not found my ggrandfather in the 1880 census but I found Montraville Sias, There is a lot of parallels in the 2 families, both in MI in 1858-1859, Eliza born in Canada,my Daniel born in Canada,1827, and he was a blacksmith. Daniels wife, Eliza, was born in VT in 1835 and the first 2 children were born in VT Daniel Frazier mustered out at Davenport IA and 3 of his children were born in IA between 1860-1870.
Do you think there could be a family tie someplace?
