1762 VA: Prince William, Powell - "John Sias of Powell" on rent rolls. Powell is the Powell Valley in the Shenandoah.

Test: 24Sept 1781: John Siers the elder late of the said County deceased on 22Feb1755 by his Indenture of that date did demise lease lett and to farm lett unto James Siers...said James Siers and his heirs during the life of said James Siers and of his two sons, John Siers, the party to these presents and James Siers jun...and whereas the said James Siers who was party to the said Indenture to lease hath departed his life intestate since the making thereof by which the said premises descended to the said John Siers, his son and heir.
John & Mary Sias had three Children, Mary b: c.1730,m: Benjamin Hambrick, a Patriot; John Siers b: c: 1745; and James b: c1720 m: Alice

Known children of James & Alice Siers:
John Siers m: Sarah Paul. John join the Continental Army in April 1778 and joined Geo. Washington at Valley Forge. He was trained well by Maj. Von Steuben. The army left Valley Forge in May and headed after the British when they left Philadelphia. There were battles in NJ. Our ancester deserted in NJ in July. Did not report for muster. He died in Greenbrier, VA (later Monroe, VA) in 1799.
John & Sarah's children are as follows: James (m: Francena "Frankey" Roach,); Jane m: David Parsons); Joseph m: Elizabeth McDade); Isaac m: Peggy Cumins); Rhoda m: Moses Keen; Charlotte m: Joseph Pierson.
I am descended from James and Frankey. It goes on but I think you can find more on the internet.
