Greetings:
I am the co-administrator of the Sears/Sias/Cyrs DNA project
Currently we have one male Sias/Siers DNA sample and are desperate to get more from verified Sias males.
Our sample cannot establish a direct link to Sias although the family used the name in the 1700s but later switched to Siers
If you could spread the word we would be very grateful....
its a simply process
cheek swab
and low cost: $100 or so
and it would greatly advance our knowledge of this family in Virginia and where they came from as well as sorting out all the various Sears Sias and Cyrs lines in North America.
Male Sias are the only ones that can test: but they can reach out to me via this link.
