My father is named after Albert Siecke (his grandfather) - if this is the Albert Siecke that helped engineer the raising of the Normandie (I have more information on that in the way of news articles if you are interested). My father also remembers Christian Siecke from his childhood.
My information is not thoroughly researched, but any help that I can give to you on searching deeper, just let me know. I happened upon this web site and realized that some of these names were sounding familiar. Your name in particular sparked a memory. When I was 9 years old (in 1978), I received $50 in a will from Caroline Ida Siecke. I don't recall ever meeting her, but she was thrilled to have our names in common. I still have a copy of the will. Again, any help I can offer, just let me know...
