Ms. Flores,

My great-grandfather, Jose Sierra, moved from the Isla, Tx area to Yuma, Arizona. The story I've heard is that he was originally a Flores, but was adopted by his paternal grandfather when the mother died and father couldn't care for him. And so took the Sierra name. The story also says that his grandfather was a cattle rancher. Jose Sierra married Maria Cervantes in Yuma, AZ or in Mexico. He supposedly traveled back to Isla, Tx after his grandfather died then returned to his family in Yuma, AZ. His Children are Nicolas, Severo, Margarita, Augustina, Josefa, and Fransico. Please contact me if you think there might be any connections. I've been at a dead-end for quite awhile. Thanks
