There was a William SIERRA who married Elizabeth LEE in the mid 1700s. She was the d/o James LEE and Mary ? of Frederick Co., MD. Another daughter, Eleanor LEE was my 6th great grandmother. She married Thomas BETTERTON and they moved on to Spartanburg Co., SC. Were the NORWOODs related to LENOIRs? One of the sisters of one of my 7th great grandmothers married a NORWOOD. My 7th great grandmother was Anne Nancy LENOIR who married John Robert WESTMORELAND. Anne (LENOIR) WESTMORELAND also died in Spartanburg Co., SC.
