My great, great grandfather, Amos Nihiser, married Rachel Sigman in Hocking Co., OH
I was born August 7, 1948, in Van Wert, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lawrence Alvin NIHISER, who was
born on July 11,1909, and Erma Mildred (FACKLER) NIHISER. Both my parents were born in Van Wert
Co., OH. Lawrence was the son of John Price NIHISER, who was born April 13,1875,in Allen Co., OH
and Mary Elizabeth(KOHN) NIHISER, who was born March 29, 1883, in Van Wert Co., OH.
John was the son of Milton NIHISER, who was born in Fairfield Co., OH on April 2, 1853, and Mary
Magdaline(STEMEN)NIHISER,who was born in Van Wert Co., OH in 1850. Milton was the son of Amos
NIHISER, who was born circa 1826 in Hocking Co., OH and Rachel (SIGMAN)(SIGMON)NIHISER,
who was born circa 1828. Amos remarried in 1869 Mary(POVERMIRE)NIHISER, in Allen Co., OH.

Specifically, I am trying to locate Amos's parents, deathdate, and the deathdates of his two wives. I need to know what happened to Rachel (Sigman) Nihiser, who were parents were, her siblings, etc. I am also
looking for the NIHISER immigrant who came to United States.
