If Philip when to Tennessee he also came back to North Carolina. Philip the son of Plikard is buried in Chatham County, NC outside Siler City in a private cemetery on Piney Grove Church Road. There are several Silers buried there along with some slaves. When last seen the cemetery was in bad condition and many markers where illegible. There is also an old log barn on the site. This may have been Philip's homesite which he passed on to his son James Lewis because James and his wife Mary Fox are also buried here.
