I am researching (where my Dad Frederick Siler left off) a Daniel Siler B 15 June 1708 Sembauch, Switzerland, one of Joseph Siler's 7 children (the others being Ulrick, Hedwig, Jacob, Gertrude, another Gertrude, and Johannes). My Dad's notes state that Joseph Siler of Sembauch, Switzerland was probably a Palatine fugative from Rhineland Germany. Various spellings are Seiler, Ziler, etc.

Daniel Siler was in Frederick, county Maryland when his will was made in 1771. He was married to Ann (last name not known) and they had 8 children (1) Catherine (2) John (3) Jacob (my line)B 19 March 1740 Lancaster, PA D ca 1804 Berkeley, West VA married a Esther and had 9 children listed in his will {Andrew, Philip, Jacob Addison, John (my line)B 9 June 1783 D 1 April 1847 Berkley Springs W VA married Susannah Thompson B 1785, Esther, Hannah, Charity, Elizabeth, Molly or Mary} (4) Christian (5) Daniel (6) Julia (7) Mary (8) Daniel.

My Dad worked on this family line for many years before he passed when Internet research was not an option. I am new to this.

Any help appreciated on Daniel and Joseph.
