Bass was born April 23, 1849. He had 3 sons, George, John, Charles, and 4 daughters, Mary, Millie Bell, Martha, and Dollie. Barzilla is buried in Bear Point Cemetry in Sesser, Ill, Franklin Co. I am trying to find out where the name Silkwood came from. My mother didn't know. Can you help. English? Irish? Scott?
