Hello, Greg, Thank you for your reply. My Duncan Sillars was born in Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland, around 1850, then immigrated to the US around 1875. He married my great-grandfather's sister, Ann McQuistan, and I have been working on tracing where Duncan went after Ann died in Odebolt, Iowa in 1887. She and several children had a tragic death from illness at that time. Our Sillars are probably related, if we could only go back far enough in Scotland. Peggy
