Found this by chance cousin. It has been a looong time since I've seen you. Our grandfather was born in Delevan Wisconsin. and my Dad was born Crawfordsville Indiana. I was under the impression that our grandfather J. Rodger moved to Massillon in the early 30's which would mean that your Dad was born in Springfield Ohio, but my memory could be faulty on this aspect. Off the top of my head this is the most I can come up with, but there is a lot more filed away that I have.

I seem to recollect that Lord Hamilton supplied our Great-Great Grandfather two looms, passage and land in Ristogouche in Quebec. I visited Sillarsville in '71 and was in corespondance with some older cousins for a while. I believe your Dad visited much more recently and reported that the little church had been moved to a museeum park. The town when I was there was the church by the road, house a couple hundred yars away and a power substation. The CN had its Gaspé line ont the estuary side of the road, but I've never seen Sillarsville on any regualr or RR maps or timetables.

Cousin Rodger Columbus Ohio 9/26/1946
