My ggrandfather was James Sillars and my grandfather was James Ferguson Sellars. He married Sarah Milliken (parents: Margaret and William) They were born in N Ireland but lived in Kilbirnie 1870 to 1930?) My father was Thomas Spence Sellars b 1912 in Hurlford. His siblings wee James b 1890, Wm Milligan Sillars b 1892, John Sellars b 1894, Alex Sellers b 1899, Robert Sillars b 1901, Margaret McCulloch Sillars b 1904, Agnes Ferguson Sellars b 1907, Elizabeth Sellars b 1909.

Margaret and Wm Milliken had a 60 year wedding anniversary in Kilbirnie in 1924.

Except for my grandfather, James (died April 1917), the remaining part of the family migrated to Alabama and then to Ohio and some finally to California and Florida.

My great Aunt Maggie Milliken married Archibald Burns.

Any of this sound familiar to your relatives? Margaret
