Dear Donald,

Hello, I was wondering if you have any connection between the Sillars we posted? I only have my direct family line. Donald and Margeret were the first American Sillars of my branch. They came to America in approx. 1829-30 and lived in Ryegate, VT.

The names Daniel, Donald, Malcolm and Archibald are seen quite often through the family history.

Also, I believe the Gaelic form for "Sillars" may be M'Inurignach and McNargid for Mac-An-Airgid - "Son of Silver"

I hope my information is helpful.

Amy
