Silvas Family tree info

I know that my great-grandfather's name was Manual Borjes DaSilva. He was marrried to Margaret Josie. They were both born in the lated 1870's or 1880's. They moved from Azores Islands in late 1890's, to Newbedford, Massachusetts. They had six children only 4 lived. Son- Joseph Perry Silvas, [they changed the spelling of their name] Son John and daughter Ida.

My grandfather Joseph Perry Silvas moved with his parents to California, to live in San Luis Obesbo.

Joseph moved to Port Hueneme and got married in 1941.

I'm looking for info on my great-grandfather. Where exactly he lived in Azores and who were his brothers, sisters, parents, cousins, aunts uncles, etc.

Any info would be soo great! My Grandfather Joseph Silvas will be celebrating his 93rd birthday on Feb. 12, 2002. He is still living on his own in Santa Paula, California.

Thanks,
Terri
