Both of my grandmothers were Silveiras from Sao Jorge. I have traced the Topo and Ribeira Seca Silveiras back to the first settler in topo in the late 1400s. His name was Wilem Van der Haegen and he changed it to Guilherme Silveira. I have many of his descendants in my data base. My e-mail address is < > or < > Manny
