Silverwood Family Genealogy Forum

My mother was Elaine Joy Silverwood, married to a Wyatt. She gave-up for adoption, four children in 1956 to the State of Ohio, Bowling Green Orphange. I was one of those children she gave-up.
I'm searching for my missing siblings. They would be in their 50s now. They would have been adopted from the Orphange. And, they lived in Grand Rapids Ohio and Bowling Green Ohio at the time of the separation. It was rumored that the oldest sibling, a female, had gone to a relative in California.
Elaine's father was Valentine Ralph Silverwood. He lived his childhood in Port Clinton Ohio and went by the nickname of' Babe'. He was good friends with the Perrys of the area. His family had business dealings with the Pascos as well. He was a fisherman. He died in Michigan. At one time, they claimed relatives in the Detroit area. In fact, it is rumored that they had traveled down from the Detroit area, and once lived in Canada.
I am trying to find out what happended to my siblings. IF you have any information, please let me know. Any piece of info would be helpful.
Kyle
