Dr. Patrick Sim, d. in Maryland 1740

Looking for documentation on when Patrick Sim emigrated, and from where (probably Scotland). Did he study medicine at Edinburgh? Who were his parents?
Patrick married Mary Brooke, daughter of Thomas and his second wife Barbara (Dent) Brooke. Where did they marry and exactly when?
In 1735 Patrick built “Sim’s Delight”, on the south shore of the Patuxent River.
Patrick and Mary had 5 children. I am particularly interested in their daughter Christian Sim who married twice.
Thanks for any help.
