Hi I was wondering if anyone could help in my search for my Sim's! I am stuck on my ggg-grandfather, Charles Sim, All I know of him was that he married Elizabeth Mackie in Monquhitter in 1826, and they had 9 children. I have traced them in the 1841 Census as living in Darnabo, Fyvie, but Charles had died by 1851. Charles was a stonemason. His son, also Charles, was born in 1835, in Fyvie and married Barbara Robertson in 1862, in Ellon. They had 9 children and lived at East Hillfold, Crimond, Aberdeenshire until they died in 1919 and 1916 respectively. Their son, William, was born in Crimond in 1869 and married Amina Henrietta Burnett Mutch in 1897. They too, had nine children. They resided at West Hillfold, Crimond. My grandfather, Charles was born at West Hillfold, Crimond in 1900, and married Agnes Kerr Smith in 1925. Charles was a crofter in St Fergus, and he and Agnes had five children. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks Donna Sim Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire Notify Administrator about this message?
