I am researching the Schimcek Family. My great grandfather Martin Schimcek arrived on the ship "Main" on 05 July 1883 at the Port of New York with his family Veronika (Boehm) Schimcek and three children, Anna, Franz, Johann. His naturalization record indicates he was from Mehren, Austria. I have an uncle that indicates he was born in Moravia and my mother had always said that my grandfather, Frank Schimcek was from Alsace. Thank you. Iris (Schimcek) Biediger
