Thanks for your reply. Malden is to the right of Woburn on the coast,or toward the coast. We have Eabud's Civil War papers, but no mention is made of his parents. I wondered if maybe that was a nickname. He had a daughter named Caroline Frances Simonds, who married George Henry Simpson from that area. We are also looking for Horatio Simpson, who would be Geroge Simpsons grandfather.
