Hi!! Recently inherited a photograph a painting. The photograph was done by F.A. Simonds from Chillicothe, Ohio dated August 1873. This framed photograph is of a painting of a vase of flowers. In the back of the frame is a paper that was glued and it is titled "Look To Your Own Interest". At the bottom is the name F.A. Simonds. This paper exorts the reader "to call to see examples in the new and unsurpassed method of finishing."

Were there any F.A. Simonds in your family? Hope some of this helps your search.
