Don't know if I can help much. All I know is that my g-grandfather married a Sarah Simonds in Winneconne, WI abt 1870. Her father's mane was Robert, and I think her mother's name was Elizabeth-she married a King and the two families moved from Winneconne to Medford, then Eagle River, WI, where they all died.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Sarah and Minerva were sisters. According to census, both Sarah's parents were born in NY.
