Here's what I have now: (1)Oscar Simonds (my gggrandfather) began the "Simonds Homestead" in what was then Sharon, VT (now part of Norwich, VT)

his son (2)William Simonds, Sr, my great-grandfather, continued to live on the hillside property and farm the land

Wm. married Mary Smith (good grief~talk about a difficult geneology to trace!)

They had at least three sons: (3)William, Jr, Albert and Henry (my grandfather, b.ca1868-70). Henry left home at age 16, not wanting to be a farmer.

That land is now owned by (3)Wm, Jr's, grandson, (5)Bertis Adams. Bertis' brother, Brandon bo't an adjacent 40 acres.

Wm, Jr's daughter (4) was Bertis (Simonds) Adams.

Any of this ring any bells with anyone?
