Hi Matthew. I just wanted to thank you for posting this SIMONDS information.

This morning I was asked to help someone out in their search for information on a Thomas SIMONDS. This was on the KIDDER Message Board.

I looked in the "History of Billerica, MA" and was very surprised to not find a SIMONDS section in the Genealogical Register. This is because there was a "Simonds Farm" in West Billerica. (Now the Simonds Farm Subdivision off of Nashua Road.)

In the Billerica book there are about 5-6 SIMONDS' mentioned but only in regard to their marriages into other families.

And, your information shows that there was a whole SIMONDS family in Billerica in the 1700's.

I have printed out some of your information and will put in my Billerica book for future reference.

FYI: KIDDER is my main research of 8-9 years, and the patriarch was James KIDDER (1626-1676) of Cambridge and Billerica, MA. His son, John KIDDER, lived in Chelmsford, MA, and he was my ancestor.
