Hi Nancy;

Where did you get the information that John Simonds died in Collinsville, NM? The info that I have is that he died in Collinsville, CT which is just West of Hartford, CT. John's son, William Edgar Simonds was a congressional medal of honor winner in the Civel War. After the war he was a member of congress and later the director of the U.S. Patent office.
