Parents of John W. Simonson b.1827 NY

Hello All,

I am looking for information about the parents of John W. Simonson born around 1827, likely in Staten Island. He later married a woman named Charotte (not Charlotte) and they had three kids: Stephen D. (b.1854?), Annie E. (b.1863?), and Charles E. (b.1872?).

Charles E. married May Sexton (b.1868?) of Staten Island and their only surviving child (I think) was Carl Simonson (b. 1900-1902) who was renamed when he was in his teens to Cortelyou Simonson.

I think this line of Simonsons descended from Willem Symonsen who arrived on the ship "De Vos" (The Fox) in 1662. Given how late in life everone in the family seemed to have kids, that shouldn't be too many generations.

Thanks All!
