Hello:
Born in Sale, Cheshire, UK to Roy Simper & Jean Mary Sandbach in 1964. Think my paternal grandfather's name was Horace. Know that the family originally came from Doncaster, S Yorkshire, UK. Did live in Barnsley S Yorks which shared 'phone book with Doncaster, S Yorks and there was one family of Simper's in there. Now live in Coventry, W Midlands - there is another Simper family in Eastern Green about 1-mile from here, but haven't made contact (what do you say?).
Anybody out there? Or know anything about where our branch might have gone, or how they got to be where they are?
It's an unusual name and I have often wondered about origins. I think that we did have some emigres, but that was more my mother's side (sandbach)- they have people in both America and Canada.
Would be pleased to hear from anybody.
