I have solved the puzzle based on census, marriage, and cemtetery records.Joseph Sims married Mary Ann Glisson.The couple is listed in the 1910 Jackson County, FL Census.They are buried in Mount Olive Cemetery, Altha, Calhoun County, FL.This county is near Jackson County, FL.Joseph Sims was the son of William Sims and his second wife Martha Emanuel Riley Horn daughter of Caswell Emanuel.William Sims was born ca. 1807 in Johnston County, NC and died after 1880 in Jackson County, FL.William Sims was the son of William Sims and Dianna and the grandson of William Sims and Martha Cook,That is as far as I have been able to go.An outline of the genealogy is presented below.
